HTC First: Facebook Phone A couple of days back, Android Police had dissected the apk of Facebook launcher (called Facebook Home) on HTC First. While doing so, they claimed that the first ever Facebook phone is manufactured by HTC, it’ll come with a 4.3 inch 720p screen, powered by a dual core Snapdragon S4 Plus processor, 1GB of RAM, 5MP rear camera, 1.6MP front camera, running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS and HTC Sense 4....
The Huawei MediaPad M5 is supposedly the first tablet to come with a 2.5D Curved Glass. It not only helps in improving the viewing angle of the device but also make it looks rather premium. The all-new MediaPads come in two display variants – 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch display with M Pen stylus. Speaking of displays, the all-new tablets comes with Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440p) IPS LCD panels. Furthermore, Huawei is equipping the tablets with a ClariVu display technology that promises better picture clarity....
And if you read that last line again, you’ll realize how the predicament in-display fingerprint sensors are trying to figure out actually doesn’t exist at all. Well, for starters, only one out of the other positions are present on the front of phones. Therefore, if manufacturers do intend to get rid of the sensor from the front for making more room for the screen, they can easily relocate it to the back which I personally prefer over everything else....

The world’s most web-restricted country, North Korea is now hosting the highly controversial torrent website, The Pirate Bay. According to the press release by the site, which was posted on the blog as well as its Facebook page, claims that Kim-Jong Un, the North Korean premier invited the website to his country, following recent attempts to seize the servers in Sweden. The latest development comes a week after The Pirate Bay informed that they have moved their servers to Norway and Spain, owing to increase pressure from within Sweden....

As Android tablets, these new devices are largely budget oriented as far as the specifications are concerned. They’re powered by Qualcomm’s aged Snapdragon 450 chipset, built-in Dolby Atmos speakers, and bezel-laden 10-inch 1080p screens. There are two variants — P10 and M10. The latter is the cheaper option of the two and has a 4,850mAh battery, 2-megapixel selfie camera, 5-megapixel rear camera, 2GB or 3GB of RAM, and 16GB or 32GB of onboard storage....
LG is using leather as a material in the G4 as it tries to give the device a more premium ‘warm’ feel. The company is also improving the camera and display, opting for an incremental upgrade, instead of a new design. The G4 also gets a slight curve, which has allegedly been inspired from LG’s G Flex line of smartphones. Actually, LG says the design is will improve the handling and rigidity by 20%, but I’m really curious as to how were they able to take such a ‘subjective’ measurement....
The Meizu Pro 6 has reportedly managed to score a whopping 99,948 AnTuTu score. While this score is indeed impressive we need to understand how the Helio X25 fares against the other flagship chips. While the Helio X25 leaves behind Kirin 950 it is still lags behind the Snapdragon 820 and the Exynos 8890, perhaps something that has to do with the GPU. The Huawei Mate 8 powered by the Kirin 950 SoC scored 94,250....
Ah, the third dimension! It’s been conquered in cinema theaters and on television screens, and encroached the smartphone arena a while ago. FUP and Net Neutrality Well, as regards Net Neutrality, TRAI has made it clear that any attempt to prioritize a particular form of data over another form of data will be seen as a violation of Net Neutrality. TRAI did make an exception for intranets but the intranet clause remains cloudy with the only way to get clarity being litigation. While TRAI has said that content hosted on intranets will be exempted from Net Neutrality rules, it has also clarified that any attempt to use intranets to willfully skirt Net Neutrality rules would be seen as a violation....
