GizChina now reports that Elephone could be working on a mysterious device with some really impressive specs. The impact on the Q2 2017 financials of the top telecom operators has been mild as Jio’s free offer started only by September 5 and most telecom operators have their second quarter limited to the end of September. More importantly, Google Fit can work as a standalone health tracker. The app can monitor your walking, running and cycling (no swimming though). Goals based on duration or total steps can be established, with Fit keeping you aware of your progress throughout each day. Third party apps (like Runtastic) and fitness trackers (like Fitbit) can also tap into Google’s platform and input your health data. Confirmed partners at launch earlier this year included Nike, HTC, LG, Withings, Motorola, Noom, Runtastic, RunKeeper and Polar....

The Google Play Music now makes use of machine learning and gathers different clues including your location, activity, weather and then it tries to match the data with soundtracks that would suit the occasion. In essence, this is something Google has already been doing in Google Now but with this update, the feature has also been extended to the Music Player. Well, as expected the app needs users to opt in and once that is done it will start notifying the users with customized playlists and music....
