Indeed, notwithstanding the almost traditional howls of “it’s too expensive” that accompany the launch of an Apple product, the fact is that Apple’s pricing is not as crazy and over the top as some are assuming it is. Yes, at Rs 59,900 in India (USD 549 internationally), they are significantly more expensive than the likes of the Sony WF-1000 XM4 ( Rs 29,990), Bose 700 (Rs 34,500), and the Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless (Rs 34,990), which for many users represent the higher end of the headphone market....

Design The new Xiaomi Redmi Y2 comes with a rather surprising polycarbonate build with brushed metallic finish that we used to see long back. In comparison, the Redmi Note 5 comes with an aluminum body and metal frame with small pieces of plastic on top and bottom near the antennas. However, the RealMe 1 manages to dramatically stand out here with its unique rear which might seem like glass but is made out of plastic and a polymer composite material....

Sh**t! I smoke, is an application which converts the level of pollution around you and converts it into the number of cigarettes it would take to do similar harm. The app uses your location and Internet connection. It collects air quality data from air monitoring centers around you and works out the number of cigarettes that you are or will be smoking as per your location. And it also explains how it does the math, inspired by Berkeley Earth’s findings about the equivalence of pollution and smoking cigarettes, according to which one cigarette a day is roughly equal to (jargon alert) a PM2....

Let us get one thing clear: the Honor 8 Pro is a very contrary beast from the Honor 8, which remains one of the most gorgeous devices we have seen with that brilliant glass back (especially in the blue edition). Yes, the 8 Pro too has the curved and smooth edges of the Honor 8, but there the similarity ends. The back is all metal for starts. For another, this is a larger device, even though it remains relatively compact....

To be fair, the phone does look rather premium – it looks a lot more classy than the Pixel 2XL. The front has an AMOLED 6-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio, with a tiny notch in the middle for good measure, housing a 24.0-megapixel camera, and some sensors too. The bezels on the side are narrow, but the one below the display is a bit on the larger side, mainly because Huawei has squeezed in a fingerprint sensor below that display....

It is not as if it looks like a “cheaper” avatar of the iPhone, though. Unlike the iPhone 5c, which took flak for its plastic-y look, the XR stays in the premium zone when it comes to appearance. It has got glass in the front and back, with the glass on the back said to be tougher than the one on the iPhone X, if not quite as strong as the one on the iPhone XS and XS Max....

Getting those Mi 10 feels in looks…NOT In terms of design language, the Mi 10T Pro is very different from the Mi 10. Yes, you get the glass front and back with a metal frame and the premium feels, but there the similarity ends. Whereas the Mi 10 had a curved display, the Mi10T Pro has a flat one. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the side rather than under the display as in the Mi 10....

Microsoft is clearly aiming to consolidate its Office 2013 branding by clubbing its native Outlook email client on PCs with the webmail service. The user interface is in-line with Windows 8 Metro UI and even claims to be the first email service to integrate Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and Skype. The ad revolves around a young woman who lives with her dog. It begins with the woman working on her MacBook, creating something. She then prints it out, looks at it and puts it in a box and locks it. The ad then builds the personality of the protagonist, her life at work, travel, meetups with friends, and then brings it all back to her home again, where she is always seen creating something on her MacBook (on another day, we would have wondered if she does not think that the iPad Pro is computer enough but shush, just sense the mush)....
