We will blame Nokia! Low light photography with a cellphone camera was literally like shooting an arrow in the dark (you had no idea what you would hit and where) before Nokia brought it to the centrestage with the Lumia 920. Suddenly, taking pictures in the dark was a thing, and “low light performance” became a part of the tech reviewer’s terminology. Low light itself got redefined, going from twilight and relatively dark-ish places to shooting right out in the night....

As expected, Nokia has brought the dual-SIM version of the Nokia X to India. At Rs.8599 ($140), that’s pretty competitively priced. If you still don’t know, Nokia X isn’t your typical Android phone. Nokia has taken the AOSP (Android Open Source Project) version of Android and has stripped out all Google services & Google APIs, and replaced them with Nokia APIs & Microsoft services. You won’t have access to the Google Play Store, Gmail, Google Drive, Google Maps etc....

The new Cain 10 Signature Black Edition has started selling from today on Snapdeal, priced at Rs 20,990, in the form of a limited edition series. The tablet sports a 10.1-inch IPS LCD display set at a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and is powered by an Intel BayTrail Quad-Core processor which has a base frequency of 1.33GHz and can be turbo boosted up to 1.83GHz. It is not that the phone is bad-looking, just that it follows a design that is becoming very common these days. Before we jump in to check out these specifications, though, here’s a quick primer on the OnePlus 10 Pro’s design. Looks like any other neckband Neckbands usually have little to no scope of creativity when it comes to design. The most brands can do to make their neckbands standout is to either go with an out of the ordinary color like Realme Buds Wireless 2 that are available in a striking yellow color, or have a hard plastic-like material around the middle like some of the early Samsung neckbands but none of these design elements really change the basic idea or structure of a neckband....

Recently, the Chinese company has somewhat finally confirmed that there will be two variants of the rumored Oppo Find 7 – after having posted two different teaser images to social media accounts, saying that there will be a Oppo Find 7 variant with a Quad-HD and another with a full-HD display. The launch of the two devices is said to happen on March 19. Pictures of one of these versions, along with some specs, have recently showed up at the Red Dot Design award website....

The Oppo R17 features the company’s new so-called “Teardrop design” which translates to a narrower notch at the top of the screen, similar to what we’ve seen on the Essential Phone. In addition, the phone will be available in two iridescent color options including Twilight Blue and Starry Purple. In spite of the lack of “Pro” here, the Oppo R17 is no slouch as far as the hardware is concerned....

Oppo Watch: Design As mentioned initially, the Oppo Watch takes design cues from the Apple watch and features the same curved, boxy design with two screen size options to choose from 41mm and 46mm. Oppo says the watch employs a 6000-series aluminum alloy frame to ensure strength and durability. While the 41mm variant features a polycarbonate back, the 46mm uses the ceramic, in addition to polycarbonate, for the bottom case....

The new Snapdragon 710, first and foremost, is all about making it easier for phone makers to add AI-powered features on their phones. The chip comes with a dedicated AI engine which can render machine learning processes at twice the rate as the Snapdragon 660. Therefore, abilities such as depth-of-field effects, scene detection should theoretically function faster on phones with Snapdragon 710. Another key highlight of the Snapdragon 710 is battery life....

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 632, of course, also comes with the usual performance upgrades as compared to its predecessors such as the Snapdragon 626. The biggest highlight of the 632 is the fact it’s powered by a new custom Kryo 250 CPU instead of a pack of Cortex ones. The Kryo 250 houses four performance as well as four efficiency cores with a maximum clock speed of 1.8Ghz in either case....
